- Find and address the common denominator of current issues
related to cavitation and the performance of high-speed propulsors
- Address basic and applied research in parallel
- Provide the designer with useful, reliable, and user friendly
computational tools
- Be systematic in the validation of analysis methods (validate numerics
first , then compare with experiments involving simple geometries
and flow conditions, and finally
compare against more complex experiments)
- Develop versatile rigorous design methods in which current
improvements on modeling can be readily incorporated
