To apply Bernoulli equation flow must be:

• incompressible
• inviscid
• steady

or

NOTE: If the flow is irrotational Bernoulli equation applies everywhere in the flowfield. However, if the flow is rotational (yet inviscid) then Bernoulli equation only applies along the same streamline.
